Ada orang isi minyak tiap minggu... kuota subsidi habis licin dia sapu. Ada orang dapat kuota 300L... tapi 184L hangus hujung bulan sebab hidupnya bukan hari-hari di jalan. Sistem panggil ini subsidi "bersasar". Padahal yang sebenarnya berlaku: subsidi diberi kepada siapa paling banyak guna petrol, bukan kepada siapa paling perlukan bantuan. Yang kereta banyak, jalan jauh, isi kerap... sedut lebih banyak manfaat. Yang berjimat, duduk rumah, keluar bila perlu... tengok kuota lupus depan mata. Akhirnya negara ajar satu benda paling bodoh: lagi banyak kau bakar minyak, lagi banyak subsidi kau rasa. lagi cermat kau hidup, lagi sedikit kau dapat.
