The Albanese Labor Government will provide households with three hours of free electricity per day as part of our efforts to ease the cost of living for Australians. This is all about making energy more affordable for people in our community and across Australia. Anyone who signs up to the new Solar Sharer offer will be able to take up this offer to run appliances like air conditioners and charge home batteries. This policy will help us make the best use of solar when it’s plentiful and will be available to all people with smart meters in South-East Queensland, NSW, and South Australia from July next year. Every Australian will benefit, as the scheme will lower demand in the evenings and minimise peak power prices.

@TerenceMcCart14 I much prefer the euro model. Most council owned public toilets here (not private provided for shoppers) are permanently locked, unless they are in tourist areas then they are maintained with our rates/taxes. Would benefit the employees, the community and tax/rate payers.
