Being able to say "I'm gay" without fear is a privilege many still don't have offline. If social media is one of the few spaces where someone can be fully themselves, it's understandable why they'd celebrate that freedom. Visibility matters, especially when the real world often demands silence.

I couldn't care less what your religion has to say about homosexuality. Your god, whom I don't believe in, your holy book, which I don't read, and your religion, which I'm not a part of, have zero authority over how I live my life. What's truly absurd is how many people think their personal religious beliefs should be treated as rules for everyone else.
