I don’t even go here, but can’t resist: but it ain’t tho. That observation, right now, is fashionable in these streets. Of course representation matters, but simply pointing to one woman without engaging the actual political context is shallow and opportunistic. I can tell you for free who will be laundering this as insight on tiktok now now.
English

In a country where women make up the majority of the population and the voting base, it is entirely reasonable to question why there is only one woman in the top leadership structure. The point is not comparative or partisan, it is simply an observation.

If it isn’t where are the blacks, it’s where are the women💔 You can’t win when it comes to the twitter commentariat.

Oom, you’re doing the Lord’s work, this has consumed many a fan since. However, @Nigelrefowens would need to look at how Ollivon joined that final ruck too. It seems he joined (on his feet) in front of the goal line (the offside line for that ruck), and only then went down on the knee, in-goal, before the ball was out, leaning on the ruck.
English

@Nigelrefowens , I wanted to ask your opinion if you had a moment.
Below , Charles Ollivon (black 7) in the in-goal area on his knees . Stormers will carry into him and he will hold the player up even though he is not on his feet.
My understanding is that this was legal.
Ollivon is not in the field of play, so tackle laws dont apply.
Instead of a tackle , it is deemed to be "held up". Ollivon can soak up the carry and get under it but he doesnt have to be on his feet.
Correct reading of this? 🙏🏻

@haribaldijones Holy fuck. Wouldn’t have believed you if it wasn’t for the consistent soothsayin’
English

@scrumming_ten Olivon joined that final ruck in front of the goal line (the offside line for this ruck), then went down on one knee putting him in-goal, but before the ball was out, resting on the ruck. I count about 3 infringements even before the hold up.
English

@SardieqWP @Nigelrefowens @ek_rugby Olivon joined the final ruck in front of the try line (the offside line for that ruck), then went down on one knee touching the try line (before the ball was out), resting on the ruck. I count about 3 infringements even before the hold up.
English

@GreggC_CC @haribaldijones @THESTORMERS @LekkerRugbyPod @MegafoonRugby Okay, but Olivon joined the final ruck in front of the goal line (the offside line for that ruck), then went down on one knee touching the goal line (before the ball was out), resting on the ruck. I count about 3 infringements even before the hold up.
English

@haribaldijones @THESTORMERS @LekkerRugbyPod @MegafoonRugby Wrong law for this Harry.
21.12 If any part of a defending player is in in-goal, that player is considered to be in in-goal, provided they are not also in touch or on or over the dead-ball line.
English

@will_owen9 @andrevdv01 The issue isn’t in-goal law, it’s ruck law. Olivon can be onside on the try line, but he can’t lean on the ruck and drop to a knee before the ball is out. That’s illegal ruck involvement.
English

@andrevdv01 It’s a loophole - he isn’t in the field of play as he’s in-goal (according to I believe 22.2 - could be wrong on that citation) so therefore this law doesn’t apply to him in this scenario 👍🏻

@jaredwright17 They can feel hard done by with a number of decisions…

@haribaldijones @mwwelman @MegafoonRugby @LekkerRugbyPod @THESTORMERS I'm *slightly* less suicidal now. Glad some ballsy oke says the (not so) quiet part out loud and makes this steaming pile of injustice almost bearable. Almost.
English

Warning: explicit anger in this.

@will_owen9 This is not correct, but even if I’m wrong, I’m most certainly not wrong about the unawarded penalty try.
English

@rugby_ap I genuinely need the answer to this. I’m dumbfounded.
English

@rugby_ap Curious you call it without a shred of hesitation or doubt. Wonder what you had to say about eben's gouge...

@rugby_ap Jesus christ, you shameless bastard, you were the first to run to ebens' side. Hypocritical moron.

@THR Oh, the irony. While discussing a movie that couldn’t be more operatic, it practically shits arias, with a soundtrack that wouldn’t exist without the art form in question.
English

American opera singer Isabel Leonard responds to Timothée Chalamet: “Honestly, I’m shocked that someone so seemingly successful can be so ineloquent and narrow-minded in his views about art while considering himself as [an] artist as I would only imagine one would as an actor... Only a weak person/artist feels the need to diminish in fact the VERY arts that would inspire those who are interested in slowing down, to do exactly that.” hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-n…

@GamingNaRoli @EliteGentleman Not quite. The one was a R100 offering, the other is a R799 offering. Even cheaper Stream packages at R299 were not—and will not be—the same as a (scalable) R100 offering of premium content. The market segments differ, it’s not supposed to be the same customer.
English

@EliteGentleman DStv and the one being closed are doing the same thing, they can be consolidated into 1 and not duplicated costs. WhatsApp and IG you can't, they not doing the same exact thing.
English

@JohannBiermann1 Should this not read debt service costs as % of governmet revenue? As % of GDP its ~5%. Still large. OECD average ~3.3%.
