Officers responded to reports of a fight involving 20–30 people outside an apartment building. Upon arrival, they found the teen girl with at least one stab wound. She was taken to a hospital but later died from her injuries. A 10-year-old boy who was with the group told police he stabbed the girl and then turned himself in.
