it’s like hades and persephone, where they can’t fully be with each other despite being married. but in calebmc’s case, it’s much more tragic because they’re bound to a system that prevents them from meeting at all. it’s different from hades and persephone, who at least have an arrangement to meet for part of the year. it’s so peak, i can’t believe this

Female principle is yin, while male - yang, but considering Caleb is ghost king, ruler of the Netherworld, he's being associated with energy of yin which ties him to dead, cold, dark place of the underworld and mc seems to not be fitting into that world almost as if she belongs to the world of living, day, sun, warmth - yang.
Female yin that belongs in the world of yang and male yang that belongs in the world of yin. They are the embodiment of of yin-yang principle, perfect opposites.
