It’s been a week of high-level strategic engagement at the @MoWT_Uganda. Our team met with the Engineer-in-Chief and the DUCAR team to align on MoU Phase III priorities and upcoming investments. We were honored to connect with Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala, Hon. Minister for Works and Transport, who celebrated our almost 10-year partnership and its impact on rural connectivity. The Minister echoed the government’s commitment to addressing maintenance gaps and moving our partnership forward to ensure safe arrivals for every community.

ULALO: A Short Film by African Storytellers The most meaningful parts of being alive aren't achievements or milestones. They're the threads of connection running quietly underneath all of it, holding everything in place. We'll see you there. March 24. 📷: African Storytellers 📷: Robb Hohmann

Connection keeps culture alive across generations. It turns a skill into a craft, a game into a tradition, a meal into a memory. It's what makes love, joy, and creativity possible. When people can reach each other, life stops being only about survival. It becomes about everything else. The dancing. The sport. The storytelling. The ordinary moments that make a life full. That's what ulalo means to us: connection. Join us in Kasenga. March 24. 📷 Robb Hohmann

Once a barrier is removed, slowly and quietly, something else emerges: a child who makes it to school consistently enough to discover she loves math. A farmer who reaches the market in time to reinvest in his craft. We advocate for access because it matters. But what moves us is everything that becomes possible once people arrive: the creativity, the ambition, the fullness of a life no longer organized around an obstacle. March 24.

Women are the providers, the advocates, and the leaders building their communities. They don't need empowerment; they've always had power. They just need systems that match it. #IWD2026

Something worth celebrating happened in Kakumiro! The Kyenyonga-Kikaada Hybrid Bridge is officially complete, and we had the honor of welcoming the Hon. Minister of Works @MoWT_Uganda to mark the moment alongside the community it was built to serve. This bridge is what government partnership looks like in practice. It's what happens when infrastructure decisions are made with communities, not just for them. 📽️: Incredible Media Agency Uganda
