@imgabydias @powstardust @60diors @MediumSizeMeech “Safer” doesn’t mean it’s actually safe, carries a higher risk, and pregnancy itself is already a high risk thing to go through. A lot of maternal and fetal complications

@powstardust @60diors @MediumSizeMeech actually it’s safer now to have children in your 40s thanks to science and she also has lots of money, she can go to all good doctors to take care of her during this time and also our bodies are different, maybe she will do the same as if she was 20/30 and won’t feel a thing

@joanjettsimp @carinoconejito @sugarp1umfajry @poxelse @mconmc Ye I’ve used ultra tampons since high school and have used them for prolonged hours than necessary due to not being able to take it out in at the given time frame, that’s only reason why I was like oh ok maybe she right cause for 11 years I’ve just been the lucky one ig

@carinoconejito @sugarp1umfajry @fikayolawrence1 @poxelse @mconmc not sure about that but it’s because super absorbent tampons provide an oxygen rich environment for bacteria to grow, and then removing the tampon can cause micro-tears to help it even more. Our body almost ALWAYS haves the bacteria to cause TSS. You just can’t let it grow.

@emjayeno @poxelse @mconmc Can increase but the risk is still low, and all I was repeating what my professor who is a PA said, when I was in college, but she did tell us that it takes longer than what they try to tell us

@fikayolawrence1 @poxelse @mconmc more than 8 hours of use can increase the risk so I don’t think the case is always from days of wear. most brands recommend no more than 6 hours

@Zoya_ki_batein They weren’t worried about fetal heartbeat and are pro-life, most likely they were worried about going to jail

In Texas, A 18-year-old girl experienced a miscarriage at around six months pregnant. She visited emergency rooms three times over about 20 hours. On her second visit, she screened positive for sepsis, but doctors discharged her because the fetus still had a heartbeat, saying she was "fine to leave." On the third visit, an OB-GYN insisted on two ultrasounds to "confirm fetal demise" before admitting her to intensive care. She died hours later from sepsis complications. Her mother later said it felt like doctors were more concerned about the fetal heartbeat than her daughter's life.

@poxelse @mconmc It’s either because she wore it too long and a professor told me it’s like days for that, or she pulled out a dry tampon and it caused micro tears that let bacteria seep in

You know that famous Denzel quote “if you pray for rain, you have to deal with the mud too” ? I’ve been thinking about it lately. Sometimes the things we want the most in life bring us the most problems. Have to be ready for all of it. I hope whoever is reading this can relate.

@jameela_na Mind you she can have children still. She knew what she was doing and knew if she wanted a child it would cost a lot more for it to happen but it is still doable. We let women have children and get married at this age but cutting her tubes is where we draw the line?

Your body your choice but at 24 years your brain is not yet fully developed. Practically you don't know what you actually want. Cutting tubes at 24 is a very rushed decision. Besides chasing clout.
