Oh my god.

Oh my god... On match point. After 3 hours and 38 minutes on Court - 🇨🇦Bianca Andreescu with one of the biggest miss hits on her second serve I've ever seen to send Kazakhstan🇰🇿 to the #BJKCup Finals in September. Absolutely. Brutal. @BJKCup #CdnTennis #WTA

He applied for Minnesota SNAP (food stamps) in 2016 as a retired engineer with significant assets (making him a millionaire). The state only checks income—not savings, property, or wealth—so his low retirement income qualified him and his wife for ~$6,000 in benefits over 19 months.
He legally bought lobster and filet mignon with the EBT card to spotlight the "fraud by design" loophole, then testified for reform to verify assets too. All benefits went to charity; no personal profit.

A millionaire in Minnesota signed up for an EBT card, was able to thousands of dollars, and buy steak and lobster
“I went public as a millionaire receiving food stamps. Legally, I have purchased lobster and filet mignon on my EBT card. Why did we do this? To raise public awareness and work to eliminate a case of fraud by design — Something is wrong”
He was able to get $6,000 on his EBT card

ATP Monte Carlo 🇲🇨
🇧🇷 João Fonseca ML (@ 1.70/-143)
Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 🍀
What Matteo Berrettini is doing right now in Monte Carlo is actually terrifying, and if you just look at the scorelines, it seems impossible to bet against him. The guy hasn’t lost a single game through two rounds, literally not one. Between Roberto Bautista Agut retiring while down 4-0 and that absolute shocker of a double bagel win over Daniil Medvedev, Matteo is playing like a man possessed. But here’s the reality check, before this week, he was sitting on a pretty average 7-7 record for the 2026 season and ranked world number 90. That kind of "perfect" momentum creates a massive amount of pressure, and eventually, the pendulum has to swing back, especially when you face someone as fearless as João Fonseca.
João is a completely different player than the kid Berrettini beat back in 2024. At just 19 years old, he’s already climbed to world number 40 and has spent the spring going toe to toe with the literal titans of the game like Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. He isn't going to be intimidated by a big serve or a flashy scoreline. Fonseca has been clinical here in Monte Carlo, dismissing Gabriel Diallo and Arthur Rinderknech with the kind of composure you usually only see in veterans. While Berrettini has had a bizarrely easy path due to a retirement and a complete mental collapse from Medvedev, Fonseca has been grinding and finding his rhythm on this red clay. I truly believe the Brazilian’s variety and his ability to extend rallies will be the first real test Matteo’s fitness and focus have faced all week. Everyone is going to be chasing the Berrettini hype train after that 6-0, 6-0 result, but I’m going the other way. I’m backing João Fonseca to pull off the upset because he has the defensive tools to make Berrettini finally work for a point, and once those games start slipping away, we’ll see if Matteo’s 2026 form holds up under actual pressure.

Dear @ElonMusk,
I’ve been on this platform since 2009, just like you. Over 100,000 posts, just like you. Years of time, effort, and engagement.
And now? I can’t even reach 5% of my own followers. We're losing followers daily while your .@X algorithm buries our voices.
What’s the point of this platform if people can’t even reach the audience that chose to follow them?
I’ve never seen it this bad. What's being done to this platform isn’t just wrong, it's cowardice.
Stop silencing people.

My friend made $4M million selling a company in Los Angeles and moved to a small town in Georgia.
Him and his wife spend a lot of money, and feel very wealthy.
I also have a friend who had a $60M exit recently.
He lives in the wealthiest area in San Francisco, and feels like he's still behind his peers...
Your environment and who you surround yourself with is everything.

@jasonjosephlee Car insurance is so expensive because if you read the contract, on some claims, you are contractually required to sue in order to obtain benefits
It’s not a joke. You are legally required to sue.
Which raises legal fees and those costs are passed on to the consumer.
English

@jasonjosephlee No
Insurance isn’t that profitable
Insurance companies underwrite to make 2% margin on insurance they write
They make the money by investing insurance premiums

My fiancées auto insurance monthly for a $60,000 car is $427 a MONTH. Mine is $367.
Our homeowners insurance for a $2,200,000 house is $1,274 a YEAR…
Make the math make sense.
Insurance companies must make a killing on auto insurance... This is why so many people feel behind.
You can't expect the average person to be able to afford $200-$500 a month in auto insurance.
PLUS, Gas prices are going INSANE!!
I will say it again.. Move to a walkable neighborhood close to your office or WFH, and get rid of your car.
Let's learn from our European friends.
