@filosofem737 @chya_balaki It is the flag of the Kurdish people, who are in fact a very religious and Islamic/ traditional people. I guess a flag without symbols would be preferable but not enough to burn it imo.

I watched that video and couldn’t believe my eyes. An #Armenian in exile, in the middle of #LosAngeles starts insulting and harassing #Kurds just because they named their food truck after Mount #Ararat. Armenians have suffered occupation and genocide just like us #Kurds. They know exactly what it feels like to have your land stolen and your people wiped out. Turks and Armenians have been fighting over the kurdish mountain for generations. So how can they turn around and do this to us? After seeing this, I’ve come to one bitter conclusion, if #Armenia were powerful today, they would treat the Kurds exactly the way the Turks treated Kurds with genocide and erasure. Mount #Ararat was never #Armenian land and it never will be. Its real name long before the #Armenians arrived, is Agri Dağı. We Kurds even had our own Republic of Ararat. But now, because Armenians couldn’t hold onto #Karabakh, they’re lashing out at Kurds and claiming our mountain and our history as theirs. This isn't just an Armenian problem. They learned these tactics from turkey, changing names, rewriting history and trying to erase other people's identity to suit their own narrative. Mount Ararat has always been Kurdish land and we will always see it as Kurdish. We have never surrendered even an inch of our homeland for centuries, and we will never give up on Ararat, Next time, make sure you educate yourself before speaking.

Fun Fact Some Palestinians have Kurdish ancestry, and their name end with Al Kurdi indicating they have Kurdish origin When Saladin Ayuby liberated Jerusalem, many people from that land mixt with Kurds, also when Kurds migrated to the land during the Ottomans reign
