NCAA has stressed the new eligibility rule is not 5-for-5.
Here’s why. The rule is not guaranteeing all athletes 5 years of eligibility. It’s standardizing a 5-year window for eligibility.
But if you enter school after your window opened, you’re not guaranteed 5.
