Storm’s very much the older sister in the relationship, though. Sadie is 24. No reason Storm’s actress can’t be anywhere from 24-30. So if you’re telling me a 5 year age gap would stopping this duo from being the best live action Storm and Jean, then I want the drugs you got.

If anything, I think Gen Z responds incredibly well to superheroes when they’re treated as people first. The themes of grief, identity, legacy, belonging -- they’re timeless & will never age out. Every genre goes through cycles. Westerns did. Musicals did. Romcoms did. So the answer isn’t to abandon the genre, but to find new stories that only be told through THIS genre. Marvel Rivals players are calling out the long wait for new skins for Storm, Black Panther, and Blade.
Storm and Black Panther reportedly have not received new skins since Season 6, while Blade’s last skin was in Season 7.
With Season 9 having an Egyptian theme, fans think it feels like a missed opportunity, especially because Storm and Black Panther both have strong ties to Egyptian-inspired lore.
