Over the past few months, what started as NoelClaw evolved into something much bigger- a platform where AI agents can remember, research, build, automate, trade, and interact with real-world systems. Along the way, we listened to the community. One piece of feedback came up over and over again: the original token distribution wasn't the best foundation for long-term growth. Instead of ignoring it, we decided to rebuild it properly. That's why we rebranded to Finch Agentic and relaunched the token with a healthier foundation. Our mission hasn't changed. We're still building a runtime layer for agentic AI. Been heads-down on Finch Agents this week. A few things finally shipped. Agents have always been persistent. You could give one a name, a goal, and it'd keep its history forever. The part that wasn't real? the "research." It looked convincing, but it was just the model answering from training data. No live web access. No verification. Just something that sounded true. Fixed that properly instead of hiding it behind better UI. >> Terminal now has a real web_search tool (Firecrawl-backed), and agents are forced to use it before they can log anything as current. >> Agent pages now pull actual research reports matching the agent's goal through full-text search, instead of only showing what the agent claimed it did. >> Reports render correctly as formatted markdown (yes... they were literally displaying raw ** and ## before). >> Export individual reports as PDFs, or generate one combined PDF containing everything tied to an agent. >> Projects now drop you directly into the workspace after creation instead of more updates coming soon! Hey guys, Yesterday, we decided to pause new launches on V2 after encountering sniping issues, which we have now patched and confirmed with auditors to ensure smooth sailing moving forward. While V2 was disabled, V1 launches were still live and have remained active.
