I feel like some of you don’t understand that okarun hasn’t fully rejected/told aira he doesn’t like her. Yes, he cleared up the misunderstanding with momo AND made it clear to momo but has not done so yet with aira. That is most likely what will take place during this arc.

Trust me I’ve read a romance manga where this “big scary incident” that has been alluded to the entire manga was a big nothingburger. Like described as this big horrifying thing that happened but once revealed it was… oh that’s it? I mean it’s bad but I thought it was worse.

I just see a lot of people whining but they’re not getting this is to help with developing the plot. Frustrating? Yes. But in the end (HOPEFULLY) it will be worth it.
