This was a very interesting article and it was a study conducted by Wilfrid Laurier University researchers which made it even more interesting for me to read! Read this article to help spread awareness for Autism. #AutismDoesntEndAtFord

Must read article on the #autism stress families are under “day-to-day life can be a roller coaster for many families and sometimes people outside the family unit, like extended family, friends and co-workers, just don't get it.” #AutismDoesntEndAtFord cbc.ca/news/canada/ki…

In behaviourism, when the students demonstrates they learned the material, they are rewarded with positive feedback. This is also true of this course! When we demonstrate an understanding of the concepts, we get rewarded with marks but also positive comments from our instructor !

@EM203gracewest I think that online group discussions are a great way for us to increase collaboration, improve communication and promote more student engagement. Using twitter is a great way because it is an app that we all know of and are all familiar with for the most part. #EM203Robin

So far in this class I have learned that there are multiple ways to connect with peers to discuss class material. Utilizing these learning resources through media such as twitter can create a better understanding of such material. #EM203Robin

@LBEM203 I agree that we are all connected as a society and communication is so important. The more often we use the web to write and read in means of communication, the bigger our chances to deepen our relationships with others and expand our vocabulary and intellectuality. #EM203Robin

@EM203johncarson There are many benefits to learning through technology such as advanced research, improved communication, fun learning, open education & learning at one's own pace. Like you said our ability to stay connected is due to the amount of information outlets provided to us #EM203Robin

@ToewsHouston It's interesting how technology has had such a large impact on our learning habits. Not only does connectivism help us learn new things from using technology but it also allows us to share information with others via webs, email, youtube or social networks. #EM203Robin

Something especially memorable I have learned is regarding the learning theory connectivism. It is not possible to "learn everything" there is to learn. Advancements within technology allow the learner to continue to read new things about any given topic. #EM203Robin

@EM203RJardine I agree with you Robert. Stepping out of our comfort zones can help us in many ways as it helps broaden our learning experiences and can guide us to connect with others. This class allows us to do that! I'm excited to learn more as well. #EM203Robin

So far we have learned to connect by using learning resources, our peers and information in order to effectively learn in the digital age. It is important for learning purposes that we are provided with tools that build these connections such as media and open discussion. #EM203
