In garage getting car fixed…
Man comes in & is asked for his ph No…phones his son to ask his wife to ph back with No…..mechanic suggests he phones the garage, or for the mechanic to show him how to find it….he says he’s fine & will wait for his wife to phone with number 🤷🏻♀️🤣

Well what a long day today has been but huge thanks to the staff on GPAU @Leic_hospital for looking after me..especially Wayne & Hayley - exemplar clinicians who have safely sorted me out avoiding admission - see you Monday as instructed!

It is with great sadness that I bring bad news of my retired Guide Dog’s passing away .. He was truly a beautiful, sensitive, highly intelligent and loving dog who gave me independence and joy. Mary and I will miss him immensely. We were present when he was put to rest.

Leaders experience emotional distress when they can’t help with staffing and work overload. So focus also on giving staff voice, justice and fairness, better conditions, self rostering, improving teamwork, better supervision meetings and education and training. That helps.

@SaskyaFalope There really aren’t the words to describe how dreadful this was to watch. I can’t imagine the harm this has caused to those having to endure that kind of mistreatment. Heartbreaking.

@EmmaVincent_UHL @Leic_hospital Agree totally with the importance of setting the professional standards with uniform presentation. It’s a foundation for me yet it seems that it’s generally very relaxed across the NHS and not challenged enough. This includes BBE. Time to look back in order to move forward imo.
