1954 article about the adventures of my Canadian parents as mentioned in my book - the only people to fly from South Africa to Australia in a single-engine propeller plane. No radio or GPS. Maps were scarce and inaccurate. Do you still wonder why my family is so brave?😉👊

Unreal, apparently the biggest floud since 1977/78. But a second wave is on it's way - Predictions are that this will be the biggest flood since the floods of 1958. Kariba will probably fill. Hopefully the wall will last.

From drought to flood, as the waters of the Zambezi reach Victoria Falls and Kariba, and the dam fills. Apparently, there is now a 2nd wave coming through Chavuma (on the Angola/Zambia border) as big as the first wave, threatening the spillway works and the dam wall itself...
