One of my travel photos popped up today and I immediately thought about how long it’s been since public spaces felt “public” and not solitary experiences. Pre-pandemic images like this seem so distant, almost from a bygone era.

@pootlepress @WordPress This is going to be a major issue that publishers will need easy tools to show whether someone’s image is in fact an untruthful AI alteration — in caption or “credit form”.

@pootlepress @WordPress I don’t know if it’s possible to answer this now, but my question was about whether Wordpress will pull the “credit” line from photo IPTC info? Currently Google/Adobe/Apple are all adopting that IPTC slot to display whether an image is altered or fully generated by AI. Thanks!
