@vanhanenist This will change with time tho, afaik reason why Forssa, Oulu and Lahti have such fame is more to do with them being more known for lower income, proletariat cities (and thus having the issues coming with them).

@vanhanenist They don't really have similar fame yet, Tampere is seen in relatively good light whereas Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa are seen as singular monolith ether as no go zone full of fags or as only civilized area that exist depending where person in question is from.

Oulu has far more affordable housing than the capital region or Tampere and far better demographics than any city in Finland that isn't way smaller, but nobody who isn't already from North Finland wants to live there because it's too far away.
Perfect place to disappear.
