@finto182 @jhrip @natheng98 @DanielRPK He hasn't said the story from Blue Beetle will even carry over, even if the director calls it his DCU Prologue, it could just be the case of the same actor playing a new version of him. Simple as that. If they retcon a few things it shouldn't be a big deal, no one watched it lol.

The inclusion is confusing cause the film was most likely written in 2021 and shot in 22 ! The references to Superman , Batman and The Flash are not referring to DCU characters cause none of it existed is my point ! Gunn will do what Gunn does and just retcon! I don’t care , I pray it does good but I don’t see it happening 🤣 I want nothing more than a successful DCU as a DC fan 🤷🏻

His film bombed so he's getting another chance in the DCU since the general audience isn't going to remember him anyways. Gunn was always going to bring Xolo back especially after saying his film is so disconnected that it works.
