Feeling the effects of the flu jab but this little face is helping.

Got my flu jab! Last year there were 4,102 patients in hospital with flu on Christmas Day alone. Get your flu vaccine if you’re offered it, and help protect yourself and the NHS this winter.

@FionaBowler Happened to me not so long ago; it was flipping terrifying! Luckily I managed to herd her back in the house (she was a new rescue and pretty wary of me at that point) but I was so worried she would run the other way and never be seen again. 😫

@DrSdeG Ouch! It sounds like you already have but I’d suggest switching to toothpaste without sodium laureth sulfate if you’re prone to mouth ulcers. Most (not all) Sensodyne toothpaste is free of it. Made a big difference for me!

I have no idea what is in this toothpaste compared to others, but dear god, 5 weeks of mouth ulcers and swollen gums and cheeks and lips is finally over after swapping to the hotel toothpaste! I generally just grab whatever is on offer, so hadn't made the link. OUCHY
