Thank you to the 80+ attendees that joined our Barriers to Access and Stigma Webinar this afternoon for #BMMHW23 - We touched on the "angry black woman" stereotype and how this can negatively impact a Black mother's care, leading to minimisation of pain/symptoms, under-diagnosis which causes a reluctance to share feelings to avoid being judged through stereotypical lens. Thank you to our facilitators @fionasmalls @ThelmaMatila @sandeeigwe - and for those who contributed to the discussions.
