Here's my take: Only recently in human history expressive art has become marketable in mass media. Art wasn't always for everyone, it was for people who were actually interested in it. Now with digital media on the rise, we're seeing a shift in market, more or less an exploitation attempt in company scale as every other industry has gone through. Fast food didn't replace local restaurants. The need for authentic, good quality, and remarkable product will always remain same. Thing is, not everyone is into extraordinary food. That's where fast food comes in to take advantage of. We're just seeing the massification of market pie. Big guess, passion and skill that survives the test of time will be more valuable. Slop has always existed before AI.
