then why does a "king" who has only a member to rule literally pay the enemies of the Crown, who are slave traders, to kidnap the inhabitants of "his" kingdom into slavery?
This "king" was anointed by a septon, he obeys the main principle of Westeros that "slavery is reserved".

@dracalysrivers People ignore Rhaenyra’s counsel and her husband, even if she bore no ill feelings towards Rhaenyra, if Helaena ever came to her they would obviously want to make Helaena/her children hostages as a way to make Aegon abdicate especially because the kids were his heirs.

That would not be a way to force Rhaenyra to make Rhaenyra make Laenor's sperm work

Not with Laenor and maybe Laena behind her. And they would have been there for Rhaenyra, because they loved Rhaenyra in their own way.
