I’ve never understood the mindset that you have to finish your career somewhere to be considered a career franchise player. It’s the Titans but Steve McNair and Eddie George didn’t finish their careers in Nashville and they’re career Titans. Loyalty has gotten us nowhere.

@501Broadway New coach. Get rid of Justin Barron. Trade up in the first. Get faster. Acquire young promising talent over vets past their prime. The NHL gets faster and every year and we simply cannot keep up. I love O’Reilly but he just can’t be the 1C and take Mackinnon for an entire game

@FastcarFerrar it didn’t, but the drop off is after 2 or 3, not 4. moving up one spot wouldn’t be worth it and if he made that move i’d be calling for his head more than everyone already is. 2 firsts to move up 1 spot is ridiculous

@firebruno25 You tell me. You tell me if there's not a huge dropoff of quality from the first 4 players to number 5 and beyond. You tell me what changes Trotz said today that the team will make to be better next year. You tell me how his job security got better today, especially after lottery

Not likely but Trotz should call Utah for that number 4 pick (NYI/CHI/SJS won't even answer the phone). Swap from 5 to 4, and also give them the other 2 first rounders. Throw in a player if you have to, otherwise I think Trotz just effectively lost his job today. #Preds

So at this point, since the NYI won No. 1, NSH needs SJ or CHI to win No. 2 in order to hold onto No. 4. If any team other than SJ or CHI wins No. 2, the Predators drop to No. 5

Listening to it’s all your fault pod and the only person I ever hear constantly talking about the 2017 SCF is @emma_lingan whom calls out all Preds fans every week for talking about the 2017 SCF, honestly we wouldn’t even think of the SCF if she mention it every week for 84 yrs.

@BryanBastin watching every playoff team in general just makes me realize that the preds don’t have anyone fast. until this team gets faster they won’t win anything

One thing about watching good teams that makes me mad is how well Edmonton is able to establish OZ possession without carrying the puck in. Why can't the Preds do that

Still no word on when #Preds GM Barry Trotz will speak. However, these comments from Jonathan Marchessault still sit with me. He was transparent about some of the changes he'd like to see.
