Yorke has struggled badly with the bat. His glove up until yesterday had been really good. You can tell he’s in his own head and is letting his batting effect his hitting the dude was a career .993 fielder. It’s time for him to sit and get right however the piling on has gotten ridiculous and shame on our fans for doing it. We scored one run yesterday he didn’t lose us the game. Players are going to slump and I truly believe at some point we are going to need him and Jay will have him ready to come through.

💡Staff Spotlight 💡 Bill Pearson Role : Northeast Director Hometown : Downsville, La Bill Pearson is a long time member of the Knights staff.  He is a 1993 graduate of West Monroe HS  where he played baseball all 4 years. After HS he went on to play at Paris JC.  Once his playing days were over he was a firefighter for 25 years while coaching youth baseball at the same time.  After retiring from the fire department he started Pearson Baseball Academy where we specializes in hitting and in 2020 he became the affiliate director for Knights Knation Northeast based in Monroe, La. Coach Bill and his wife Anna has 3 sons, Jacob who originally signed with LSU in 2017 and was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels and had a 7 year professional career. His 2nd son Josh was a long time player with the Knights and enjoyed an incredible career at LSU. Coach Pearson’s 3rd son John also was a member of the Knights and is currently a sophomore utility player at LSU. Coach Pearson also has two daughters Ashley and Paige.  He is a great asset and resource for all the players / families in the Knights Knation program and one of the premier hitting instructors in the country.
