Have you tried church recently? Now is a great time! If it's your first time to visit, be sure to stop by the Welcome Center for a little gift which includes a free beverage of your choice from our café. And no, we will not be weird and creepy. 🥸

Our CREATIVE CONNECTIONS volunteers are amazing! 🥰
Last week, they completed 25 Easter Bags and 3 children's baskets for God's Shelter of Love which provides emergency shelter for homeless women and children.

Wow! 🤩
Student Life had a great time at their Winter Retreat at Little Galilee Christian Camp this past weekend. Friendships were made and teens grew in their faith. They also packed bags for foster care kiddos to use for their first night entering into foster care. How sweet! 📷 We hope these teens continue growing in their faith and serving others.
Welcome, Randy! 👋
We are excited to announce that today is Randy Roberts' official first day as the new Executive Director of Disciple Heritage Fellowship, a ministry of our church that serves churches across the country with a common heritage in the Stone-Campbell movement. Rick Grace is still working with DHF, but on a part-time basis based in Texas now. 🤠 (Don't worry, he's still a Bears fan 🐻⬇️)
Be sure to give Randy a warm welcome in the comments! 😊
We look forward to seeing ✨YOU✨ at church this weekend!

Don't forget... 🍼
If you took a New Life Pregnancy Center baby bottle, please be sure to return it filled with change this weekend.
Thank you for caring for women and men in our community facing unplanned pregnancies! 👶
Our ROOTED groups are THE BEST! 💚
This group chose to clean our indoor play area and created prayer cards for parents to take while the kids play. Love how you are serving both the children and their parents. Great job, ROOTED team! 🥰

Check out what this ROOTED group did together! 💚
Because they all love animals, they bought food and toys for animals waiting to be fostered. How sweet is this caring for God's creation?! 🐶
Great job, ROOTED team! 💪
Our ROOTED groups 💚 serving together!
This group chose to create "Birthday Parties in a Bag" for local food pantries to distribute. These bags contain a cake mix with all the necessary ingredients, a cake pan, candles, balloons, napkins, and plates. The group even prayed over the families who would receive these. What a great idea! Way to go, ROOTED group! 🥳
It's our FAVORITE time of the week... when we gather together to learn more about God's Word and worship the Lord. 🤩 Join us!

KENYA UPDATE!
The team had the opportunity to visit Heshima, an amazing ministry that provides dignity for children and young adults with special needs. We wrapped up our time in Nairobi with a presentation by Mary Leonard on one of her ministries. Mary is training a group of women (mainly local pastor's wives) on how to start their own micro business. Then the team departed Nairobi and headed to the current home of another of the Leonard family's ministries to wrap up our day. Harvest Missionaries College is located in Ewaso Ng'iro. Past teams have visited here many times to spend time in the medical clinic. The university is currently housed on the same campus. However, God is doing big things. Land has been purchased for the future home of the college! The team visited the new site where there is a well, water tanks, and the 12 acres have been fenced in. With God's provision the campus will have classrooms, a computer lab, library, dormitory facility, and even a home for the dean of the college! The team planted trees that will line the property, and we prayed over the land. Many prayers were lifted for the future missionary students, their families, the faculty, and staff and for God to raise up disciples to be equipped to make disciples across Kenya and around the world . It was sacred time. After a beautiful safari day, the team is now packing up to begin their long journey home. Pray for safe travels for them as they return. 🙏
Meet our family ministry team that ministers to those birth through 12th grade! 💛
We have a new addition this week with Kelci (front center) joining as our Pre-K Director. Be sure to give Kelci a warm welcome. 🥰
KENYA UPDATE 🇰🇪
Greetings from DFCC 2026 Kenya Team! We had another beautiful day in Masaai-land! From amazing worship, beautiful friendships, more gracious Masaai hospitality and a day filled sweet moments we left the center with full hearts.
We got to meet the three Maasai girls — Esther, Nancy, and Abigail — that have been financially supported for the next couple years because of the generosity of many at the “Dinners In The Pines” event last Fall in Decatur envisioned by and hosted by FCCers Ryan & Diane Zelhart.
We were a part of the church service where our team got to send greetings and lead a few English worship songs (thank you, Campbell ladies), we visited the boma (Maasai home) of Pastor William Siparo who is BJ’s Maasai Counterpart in Kajiado, and we walked to the river that is normally a dry river bed but is quite the sight with all the rain they’ve been getting.
The team just got back to the Leonard house after a great day in Mathare Valley with Joy Divine. We met Fred (Director of Joy Divine), got a tour of the facilities, set up for tomorrow’s Time to Shine then did some home visits of families that have a child who will be in attendance tomorrow. Wow. An emotion-filled and special day.
