The discussion around Alchemy of Souls is honestly funny. The casting directors clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Look at the script closely, Season 1 gave Naksu a much stronger, more intense role, while Season 2 leaned softer and more emotional. Both actresses delivered, but the material simply wasn’t the same. However, it was Naksu’s performance in Season 1 (played by Jung So-min) that made people look forward to Season 2, and that’s what made the drama land the way it did. She’s a senior actress in both experience and performance, so put some respect on her name. She was trusted with 20 episodes as the FL, that alone should tell you everything.

Only CVB (by NRTA) is real, the most authoritative. For primetime TV dramas, ratings and pull up rate are indicators of a drama’s success and an actor’s ability to carry a drama. If a drama airs on TV but you only hype third party tools data while ignoring CVB? it says something.
