When offering treats on the scratcher tool, she lowers her head and leans forward to sniff and then she leans back and sits up when reaching close. She leans in for cheek rubs, remains calm when petting her head, and walks forward to eat treats initially offered when stroking her body. She sniffs the tool again, leans in hard for cheek rubs, rubs her face on the den, walks to the front to greet the assessor, ignores treats offered, and then pokes her head out of the kennel to scan the environment. Pick up was not attempted in order to reduce stress.
