@fishsupreme

I am so great that 140 characters could not possibly describe even one of my aspects.

@EliteDangerous @M_V_Coehoorn If this is the case, why does the game allow us to build T2 and T3 stations around gas giants & non-landable worlds? This means those locations are literally unusable for large stations, and so many people have built them there because NPC stations do that.

Hi there, looking at your orbis station in orbit around Hyadum II, it looks like you've built your structures on other planets. These will not affect the market of this station. To have them affect your starport market, you will need to build facilities on the planetary body your market orbits.

Greetings Commanders, You may have noticed some of your recently completed stations have not become fully operational after today's maintenance as expected. These stations will now become operational next week. Here's why: elitedangerous.com/news/trailblaz…

@EliteDangerous @M_V_Coehoorn It would have been great to have had some hint to this detail before building 3 T2 stations around a gas giant and a non-landable planet, none of which have any other space locations. Guess those are all permanently useless due to secret game mechanic?

@madzadev Rails. I hate Ruby, I've had two different jobs where I had to migrate an app off Rails, I don't even like Rails, but it is unquestionably the fastest way to create a CRUD application. You can be done in 10 minutes.

@DeveloperHarris My wife and I encountered one in a hotel 12 years ago. We immediately replaced every toilet in our house with them. They are awesome, and have clogged zero times.

so you're telling me there exists a type of toilet that's only $300 which has wider drains and *can basically never get clogged* because it uses pressurized water instead of gravity fed but its not everywhere????????

Anyone here at #defcon32 not want your badge, or want $100 more than you want the badge? Looking to pick up an extra Human badge to take home before I go.

Worried you won’t get a badge tonight at the party?! Don’t worry. We have around 200 left, and some art badges! $40 for LED, $0 and a high five for art. Small amount of stickers and friendship bracelets too. 🖤🎉✨ 9pm!

We’ve still got one person at networking bar with a new batch of badges. Also, someone on a couch between the Hall 3 and Hall 4 signs, near Vortex Bar! Two drops!

Just wanted to share some photos of this year's GothCon badge! Not required to go to the party, just a fun #badgelife #defcon project. If you want to get one, follow @dcgothcon to find drops at or around DEF CON & its hotels! (And bring $40.)

@theapplehub The one thing that keeps me on Android is the easy availability of good, phone-wide (i.e. apps too, not just browser) ad blocking. The mobile web is unusable without an ad blocker.

@danielcranney I've been fully remote for 8 years. I would consider a 1-2 days a week in-office job if it paid _really_ well, but if one says 5 days in office that's a deal-breaker at any price.

@xgigglypuff I can only think of one good reason to purchase raw milk: if I want to make bloomy-rind cheeses at home. They don't work as well with pasteurized milk. But I'm not going to _drink_ it.

Ok I’m saying it. Cancel me. Purchasing and drinking raw milk is genuinely stupid. There are no scientifically-proven health benefits. You are paying more money for something that puts you at higher risk for dangerous bacteria. I do not respect your opinion.

@madzadev Depends on what you're building. But for web targets I tend to agree only because it's a better match to the target environment & avoids annoying Windows idiosyncrasies like NTFS path length limits
