"Read 'n' Swim" facilities are becoming more prominent at libraries everywhere! Discussions regarding pool installation here at Evans Library are already underway. We are expecting the space, planned to be located on the fifth floor of the library, to open on 2/30/2023!

Here at the Evans Library, we're all about #reading! So let's highlight National Read Across America Day! 📚 This holiday was created by @neatoday in 1998, to help encourage reading amongst younger populations. (Fun fact: March 2nd is also Dr. Seuss' birthday! 🎂)

National Women's History Month helps bring the accomplishments of women in culture and history to the forefront. NWHM started as a weeklong holiday in 1980 by the @officialNWHA, with the support of then President Jimmy Carter, shortly after expanding to a month-long observance.
