Poi la verità, la più atroce: quella gattina ha i genitali devastati, in un quadro clinico compatibile con una violenza terribile subita nei giorni precedenti. Una crudeltà che sconvolge e che spezza il fiato. Noi siamo con lei. Siamo al suo fianco adesso, mentre lotta. Saremo con lei durante ogni cura, ogni terapia, ogni giorno necessario per provare a restituirle quello che qualcuno le ha strappato con una crudeltà mostruosa. Non la lasceremo sola nemmeno per un istante. E non ci fermeremo alla compassione, perché la compassione da sola non basta. Abbiamo presentato denuncia. Abbiamo attivato ogni passo necessario sul piano legale. Faremo tutto ciò che è in nostro potere perché chi ha compiuto questo orrore venga identificato, fermato e punito. Senza sconti. My first tour was so fucking terrifying to me and maybe because I was pretty hard on myself, weird little paradox every night of feelings the adrenaline and the love of the crowd all the while scolding myself in my head. I had some incredible shows that tour and proved a lot to myself but still it was a tough one mentally

The 2nd tour had a different energy about it. I felt much more assured in the music in an album that was literally designed for the live show but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have some nights where I questioned myself. About midway through that tour I remember metaphorically looking in the mirror and saying to myself that I needed to allow myself the success and the idea of being capable on my own. Gratitude is an incredible feeling but also comes with its own pressure, I wanted so much to deliver for you all every night and wasn’t allowing myself room for error. That momentum shift was really important for me. The last show of that tour absolutely blew my fucking mind, it gave me room to reflect on how far I’d come. Never did I imagine WE’D be able to achieve this
