It amazes me people always suggest "I get my own organisation" to campaign for GRA repeal. They cannot understand one may just have an opinion without trying to monetise it. I am a legal scholar, not an activist. And people who make money out of a problem do not want a solution.

@lascapigliata8 After f/t school all day, hot, I'd sit in our swing w/my 8 yo to cool in the 5pm offshore breeze, and watched this happen over a few weeks... enchanting. Final result not as impressive as this labor and delivery... we'd fall asleep there, us, the swing, this flower magic.

@RBaslim @sappholives83 THE reason parents should not kiss their children on the lips is that it TEACHES them that it's at least a little okay for OTHER adults to kiss them on the lips, like Uncle Wierdo, Grandpa, the neighbor, their best friend's dad. It's not worth the damage so you could be gross.

I always think about the dads and how they wanted their daughters to get sexually abused on the swim team with Will Thomas in the locker room and on a grand public stage. I don't believe most men care about their children, especially their daughters because they showed the world they would rather watch their daughter get sexually abused than stand against gender identity. And I think most under similar circumstances would have done the same. When the men say they would die for their families they mean inside, just a lil bit before they go back to their favorite porn category. Stepdaughter porn is the number #1 money-making porn genre because dads love to watch their fantasies play out about their children and they want live young looking women to abuse, preferrable ones that look underage and similar their daughters.

I don’t feel pretty. I don’t need to. I’m fine with being ugly. I’m able to post my unmade up face on here today at 61 and accept when 30+ people tell me I’m ugly. It’s not a problem. I just didn’t like that guy laughing when he’s ugly too. No one sees me but my cats and they love me so that’s all I need. I’m truly sorry that your mother dishes out at you. I stopped talking to mine (who was a narcissist and probably a psychopath) when I was 16 and ran away. Infrequently, I talked to her after that when people told me she was my mother and you only get one in a lifetime. It’s was always the same. She was awful. I finally stopped for good in 2012. She’s been dead since 2016. You don’t have to put up with your mother, if you don’t want to. I just thought I should tell you that because few people say it. You can give yourself permission not to deal with it, if you want.

I watched Moonstruck last night for the first time. I've seen clips of the movie for decades, and knew what the movie was about and even knew the quotable quotes from it. I just had never seen it. It was delightful. An hour and a half. Let me repeat that - it was an hour and a half! I can't remember the last time I saw a movie that wasn't clocking in at nearly three hours and I am so for bringing that back. It was an hour and a half of pure entertainment. There was no message the producers, show runners and directors were trying to shove down my throat. There was no "difficult" history in need of rewriting to make me feel a way someone else wanted me to feel. Just a silly story about a silly family doing the messy things families do. And people looked normal!! Not only normal, they looked different. I didn't confuse all the characters with one another because they all looked uniquely human with bad teeth, grey hair, too thin, too fat, too old. Let's make more of these wonderfully delightful and reasonable length movies once again, please.
