I got real annoyed by people trying to turn Ilya being “Yuna’s favorite son” into something ugly and disparaging towards Shane. Ilya is an ORPHAN who hasn’t known parental love since he was TWELVE. If that were my partner, I’d adore my mom for loving him so much.

Thinking about Ilya being sick and having a fever and the Hollanders are looking after him cos Shane is on a roadie. Yuna wakes him up to take his medicine and when Ilya first wakes up he says “Mama” then realises who it is and tries to apologise but Yuna just hugs him and tells him “oh sweetheart, it’s okay don’t apologise. We all want our moms when we’re sick, why do you think I’m here?”

@MellyMooMoo86 And since almost all of F’s screentime is without C *or* H and constitutes only a fraction of the entire show’s runtime, I’d love to know how much time he actually spent in C&H’s presence. Just the time spent filming at the rink in Guelph? Were C&H bts at the smoothie shop, too?

Just thinking out loud. So from their own admission, H &C spent 24/7 time together on &off set even when other wasn’t needed on set, still turned up to watch other one, so when exactly would have F&C spent time to establish a relationship? #Hudcon

@hudsstorrie Their story is like something out of a fairytale. IMO that’s a big part of why they’re so compelling, individually, but especially as a duo. Watching this play out in real time feels magical, ineffable. If it were a book I’d be charmed silly, but it’s real life?!?! I’m obsessed.

Even without the mystical element - this has always sounded to me like love at first sight. I hope one day we get the full story (Hudson’s inevitable biography) or even get to see the moment for ourselves if Jacob ever releases the chemistry test.

@witchyamandabc If Hunter had been played by a more book-accurate actor (and had discernible chemistry with Robbie), then Skip could have been a cute, relatively angst-free palate cleanser sprinkled throughout eps 1-5. But as it is? I’m glad their story is primarily contained to one episode.
