I participated in our local Teddy Bear parade- which is a charity event collecting Teddy bears for children that endured a tragic/trauma event. Our theme was school house rock. I’m just a bill. I painted all the decor! I will always fight to protect our children #sendstrohtosalem

Tina Kotek just posted a reel praising a federal judge’s decision to pause enforcement of part of an executive action from Donald Trump that would restrict federal funding for doctors or hospitals providing certain gender-affirming medical treatments to minors. She’s calling these treatments “medically necessary” and defending continued access for minors so they can feel safe and be their “true selves.” I strongly disagree!!! We’re talking about irreversible, life-altering medical interventions on minors—kids who are still developing and deserve protection, not policies that push them toward decisions with permanent consequences. I would argue that the majority of Oregonians would consider these surgeries an act of bodily mutilation. And this is exactly why elections matter. We’re not just voting over taxes or policy preferences in Oregon this year. We’re voting on values. We’re voting on leadership. We’re voting on how far the state should go when it comes to protecting children. Our current Democrat leadership is endangering at risk youth—Every. Single. Day. Your vote shapes the direction of this state—and the future our kids are growing up in. I’m asking you to join me and vote—this May and this November!

It saddens me how many Oregon voters no longer feel that their vote doesn't count. I Does Count! It is impossible to effect change in our local government without it. We got the gas tax on the ballot. Now it is time to vote NO! We need all of you individually and collectively.

Oregon's population grew 48% since 1990. Total emissions rose just 5%. Per capita, emissions dropped 29% — exceeding the 2020 goal. The "emergency" doesn't add up.

Ballots arrive next week. Oregon's primary elections typically experience low voter turnout. This year, every single vote counts, so no one should sit out. Vote "No" on Measure 120, the gas tax, and vote down the entire ballot.

@MikeHawk503 What I do know is in the last primary ; May 2024). Only 35% actually turned back in a ballot. I will try to get voters out to actually vote rather than do nothing.
