Starting today my new personality is going to be of a confused interdisciplinary scholar who keeps reading theories from different disciplines and tries very hard to understand overlaps but eventually gets more confused.

It was fee waivers that did it for me, and most importantly mentoring networks like @BahujanEcon

@DinaPomeranz Maybe democratize access not just by country but also within country? A lot of international students do come from high SES as well, parents with PhD/higher ed. Most of us who actually grew up poor know first hand what poverty is. Personal motivation is so underrated.

I sometimes wonder what a graduate degree might accomplish that a 3-4 years of relative experience may supposedly not? is it the connection you make at fancy conferences, or is it the cake you eat at a party of a 40-year old “seasoned” stakeholder that makes you worthy?

@fizzasuhel You’ll get annoyed with the debate on this every other week. Just stick to either VS Code or Cursor for now. Pick between Codex or Claude Code and use it. Every week someone tells how one is better than the other here.

Shifting from Antigravity+Gemini Pro today to Claude thinking that I can just select Opus 4.6 in AG and everything will be the same just a better agent... why am i dumb? Suggestions needed on which one is easier to navigate: CLI, VS or Cursor?
