I suspect they will first take the city of Narva, which has 95% people of Russian origin living there, and then treat massive drone attacks when EU/NATO tries to take it back. Europe loves saying Ukraine has “the strongest military in Europe.” Fine. Then act like Ukraine is defending Europe now — not like it’s a buffer buying time for Europe to slowly rearm over the next 3–5 years. Ukraine still lacks enough air defense, long-range capabilities, and strategic support to fully protect its people. The goal should not be to help Ukraine survive. The goal should be to increase pressure on Russia now — militarily, economically, and politically — so Russia wants to end this war. #globsec2026

We are working with all our partners on air defense for Ukraine – this is the first priority. Anti-ballistic capabilities are now in short supply globally because of the war with Iran, but we must look for solutions. We are trying to accelerate work in Europe on producing our own anti-ballistic capabilities on the continent in sufficient quantities. We will also continue engaging with the United States regarding its ability to support Ukraine. The PURL program is working, and we are grateful for that. Europe is helping us financially. But strong leadership from the United States in expanding anti-ballistic production is also urgently needed.

@Geopolitic888 @OTregub Ukraine is part of Europe. If Ukraine would have been defeated, Putin would have taken the Baltic states by now, including soldiers from Ukraine. At the moment Europe cannot stand the number of drones that Ukraine is dealing with on a daily basis.
