The discount you are talking about will only save them from tax but would not give them the power to offer upfront money. They cant just offer big as they still have 4players to re-sign.

T1 can pay him more with the discount but how when theres no renegotiation happened. Unlike T1, HLE doesnt care about taxes because they have more money.

prep time from hle for is finals shorter, they had the match with lyon 5pm kst until 9pm + interviews/press so thats what 1 hour minimum added? then the next day they start earlier too and they're always on site atleast 2 hours before the match, so here's the truth

@isgoodmayusi An extra day of rest doesnt matter as extra prep is useless because the only realistic thing you can practice is the comp you are using. In league terms, the winning team basically get 2 heals and shutdown gold while the losing team gets a heal and a GA.
