Observation of one journalist (me): It’s like public officials are speaking rioting into existence by all their fearful talk. I haven’t seen any indication of that on the ground and especially at the vigil tonight. Rage, yes. Sadness, yes. But nothing violent. #TyreNichols

I believe they will be utilizing kettles and mass arrests. Probably staying away from gas. That doesn't mean that things can't get out of hand but they do not want another 2020. And this won't be in response to arson or pd. It will be in response to standing in an intersection.

I am just going to respond to everyone of these. They are doing this for one reason; to make it clear that "2020 will not be happening again." It is a warning against illegality. It is their new playbook.

I am gonna go against the grain here and say that *if* demonstrations spread post #tyrenichols video release the Democrats being in power won't matter. At least to the people on the streets. I also don't think the cops being black will matter in the long run.

Take a moment before Friday to look around at whose been talking about #tyrenichols. Non white people. Anarchists. The news. Remember that when liberals, college NGO types and marxists all of a sudden have the loudest voices.

BREAKING: #TyreNichols arrest video is expected to be released publicly Friday, according to a letter obtained by @NC5. It was sent by Jeff Bledsoe with the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association to the Nat’l Sheriff’s Association— alerting them of a potential public safety risk.

They will immediately attempt to pacify the situation thereby taking steam out of gathering. Young people will be specifically targeted with guilt politics. Expect centrist media/social networks to ignore/shadowban demos, specifically any violence.

If we are facing down another 2020/21 uprising you can be damn sure the state will be prepared. Expect tons of interference with protest in all ways even prior. Tons of mysterious grifters taking advantage of the situation confusing people.

This doesn't seem to be getting attention on Twitter yet. But yeah, the U.S. attorney talked about the release of the video and is prematurely asking for peace...so ya know... #TyreNichols
