How much time are you willing to give Denzel Clarke at the bottom of the A’s lineup before calling up one of our high upside OF in AAA like Henry Bolte? Denzel Clarke’s defensive presence is unmatched, but how long will the A’s be willing to keep his unreliable bat in the order before pulling the plug is the question?

@AthleticsRants It really depends on how well (bad) the rest of the lineup is doing. If everyone is hitting like they are projected to, then Clarke stays. If the lineup struggles, like they are currently, Clarke sits. Guess thats what happening for the first Braves game.

@flacozar29 Coaches are doing a lot it’s easy to assume a guy will move to the right spot and miss that he’s out of position. Especially when the ball is put in play on the first pitch. If you want to put that on coaching sure, but there’s no way he was supposed to be there

There’s a lot of focus on this play, but Muncy playing double-play depth with 2-outs and letting a chopper go over his head in the 9th on what should have been a routine GB needs a lot more discussion
