By five weeks old, up to 39% of these 'broiler' chickens are lame (Dixon, 2020). Not because of disease or accidents — because we've bred them to grow four times faster than natural. Their bodies can't keep up. The genetics labs selected relentlessly for this rapid growth. The reward was slightly cheaper chicken. They didn't bother to select for legs and organs that could keep pace. The price was chronic pain for billions of animals.

@ohyeahmister2 @stellarman22 It's not nearly enough and US proxies surrounding China are busy as we speak at subverting those pipelines. And Ukraine has been successful in damaging Russian oil output by some say 30-50% the last couple of years.

@flagellan @stellarman22 China is able to secure its oil by friendly talks with Iran and they already get some oil from Russia. A new pipeline is currently being built going through Mongolia to China so that more Russian oil gets to China.
