FAFO: Patel sues left-wing mag for DEFAMATION. $250 million in damages. After the fake news hysteria du jour last week, FBI Director Kash Patel now has filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The Atlantic. The left-wing magazine published its 💯 anonymously sourced hit job on April 17, citing “unnamed” sources to question Patel’s fitness to lead the FBI. The 19-page complaint details multiple false and defamatory statements: • Patel is “known” to drink to the point of obvious intoxication at clubs in D.C. and Las Vegas • He was unreachable behind locked doors, prompting a request for breaching equipment • FBI meetings had to be rescheduled because of his alcohol-fueled nights • His security detail had repeated difficulty waking him due to intoxication • His behavior caused unexplained absences that delayed time-sensitive decisions and investigations, including the Charlie Kirk case • He behaves erratically in ways that compromise national security If the magazine refuses to disclose its alleged evidence, there is a good chance Patel could prevail in this lawsuit. Odds are they promised not to disclose sources (if there really are any) and this refusal to do so can be taken as an admission in a defamation lawsuit.

I’ve had a “rule” that if a sports team sends me something, no matter what, I’ll review it I now have a 2nd rule: if a team invites me somewhere, I’ll try my damndest to go Related: I can’t wait to join Ravens fans for their uniforms unveiling next week, LFG! Thanks @Ravens!

Hudson Williams’s character in ‘The Altruists’ (called Duncan Rheingans‑Yoo) was the co-founder of Modulo Capital, a Crypto trading fund that received a $400 Million investment from FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried right before the cryptocurrency exchange collapsed. The series is based on the collapse of FTX. Whilst Duncan isn’t accused of wrongdoing, investigators scrutinised the investment due to its timing and the fact that Modulo operated out of the same Bahamas resort complex where Sam and other FTX staff lived. Hudson Williams was booked for the role pre-“Heated Rivalry” and filmed his scenes last year.

one of the funniest things to me is when a person writes specific details about boston in a fic and they definitely aren’t from boston cause they’ll be like ilya crashed his car into a tree speeding on newbury street and I’m like no he didn’t
