It's not about being a wannabe or anything w.r.t Project Hail Mary. Once you start watching English films, your love for Indian films automatically goes down. Which is why I keep saying Dhurandhar is very good for Indian standards.

All of sudden my feed is of everybody whining about Dhurandhar being a propaganda movie. I mean get a life. The idea of a political party being praised for its Nationalistic stance rattles the echo system so bad. They are still in delusion that majority doesn’t have the same sentiments. Critical thinking has always been appreciated in India but it can’t be a tool to run a negative campaign against an absolute blockbuster of a movie. The movie is an absolute legend but your take so devoid of the current situation. You are entitled to have your opinion but then be open to take criticism for absolute retard takes. You don’t get a free run to rundown any movie of your choice where your ideology doesn’t match with it. Deal with it if you can. This is a new assertive India. You will be called for your biases if it is out loud evident.

There are moments when you wonder why you do what you do but an evening like this makes it all worth it - the Critics Choice Awards (@CriticsChoiceIn) were just so lovely. He tends to loose his shape alot while striking the ball. He looks a good prospect with the bat bhai. While bowling that run up isn’t helping him. All the energy is lost in that. I am really surprised why isn’t this getting addressed by the coaches. I understand that changing the action is really difficult after a certain point of time as the bowling muscles have developed with a particular action but run up can be surely worked upon. I feel if he eases through in his run up he should be atleast a yard or two quicker.

The one good point he said was about Arjun's bowling. For a tall pacer, he doesn't really maximise his height. Hopefully, he would come through as a batter.

@PratimDGupta Honestly speaking I tried watching Jawan & I could barely watch for 30 mins. That how badly it is made. However i do agree you don’t need to run down other good spy movies. As it is there are hardly any worth watching.

Do we have to run down all spy films to appreciate Dhurandhar? Do we have to be a noise-maker like RGV just to be viral for a few hours. One can enjoy Jawan and also enjoy Dhurandhar. This is a star-driven country. Storytelling and craft aside, it's also about watching an SRK doing something in one film and a Ranveer in another. Different experiences, both enjoyable.

I have seen it & it is a brilliant movie. Considering what kind of Bollywood movies are made on SPY it has to be amongst the top 5 movies but Dhurandhar is 4-5 notches above. Aditya Dhar has changed the SPY universe movies game forever. The Bar is so high that it is very difficult to match it.

When you have a problem with basic straight facts then it’s your problem. Either you hate the truth or you are intellectually innocent. They are being appreciated because they took the risk which no one took. The Khanani Brothers network is very well document & what they did & how they did it, even that too is there in the books. Breaking that vicious network was important & it needed a bold step. BJP took it & deserves all the praise for that. The change in the mindset towards being an aggressor towards your enemy nation has been a successful one too.

Gadar 2, Border 2, Fighter, Sky force and The Diplomat were all recent anti-Pakistan movies, but no one called them propaganda. People actually enjoyed them. But when you start over-praising a political party, give it credit for everything and show that on big screen , no matter which party it is and also twist some facts, that’s when it becomes propaganda or misinformation.

@bhatnaturally Did that in Happy New Year. I just couldn’t take the amount of nonsense that movie had. It was an absolute cringe fest. The jokes were dumb, the story was even dumber.

'When will this damn movie end?': that feeling when inside a theatre. On many occasions, mostly because one made a wrong choice of movie to watch. Dhoom 2 comes to mind. 'I can't take this anymore': simply walking out of the theatre not worrying about the money wasted. I did that with Mohabbatein I think. And maybe a couple more of YRF films names of which I can't remember.
