@rudiseitz One thing that helped me get there is that I decided my practice needs to feel effortless or there is something I need to fix or change (usually tempo but sometimes scope of practice). Anyways, this speaks to me.

@flexlessons This is great advice. It also fits with my Church Choir Theory of Popular Songwriting(tm) which is that most of the great songwriters sang in church choirs as children, which gave them an instinctive grasp of harmony and melody.
