🚨WANTED FOR A RAPE: On Thursday, January 29, 2026, at approximately 11:42 A.M., a 14-year-old female was approached by the perpetrator Germaine Parham in the vicinity of 1 Avenue and First Avenue Loop, in the confines of the 13 Precinct. Germaine Parham proceeded to sexually assault the victim and forcefully removed her cell phone. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.

Happy New Year and Thank You! Personally, 2025 was a shit year, the worst on record. For those who know what I went through, I won't go into detail, but it's been a crap year, not just for me but also for my wife and children. We didn't just lose one person; we lost an entire family. I also became aware of certain harsh truths which have forced me to re-evaluate my whole life. What I found was cruel and devastating. Then there was you. I often get told my posts make people happy, that they somehow help people through difficult times. Well, that's a two-way street. When you react positively to what I post, it helps ME. It makes ME happy, and this year, I really needed that. So, thank you for your replies, support and love. I often felt abandoned and alone this year, then I'd turn on my computer, and there you were. You make me smile every day, and isn't that a beautiful thing? You have unknowingly helped me through a very challenging and stressful time, and I will be forever grateful. So, from the bottom of my heart, I wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year. Let's hope 2026 brings a little more love, a little more understanding, new friends, good times, heartfelt laughs, fewer tears and a brighter future.

Thanks to photographer @StellaH07773809, who is at Astoria the Wild Turkey's side every evening to offer care (including fresh water) and guidance in the often-crowded urban park The Battery so that Astoria can safely fly up to her roosting tree. 🦃 ❤️

@StellaH07773809 Stella, I am 1/11 to see Astoria at Roosevelt Island (bike ride) and I am 0/3 to see her (early afternnon bike ride) at Battery Park. So this evening (hopefully-no bike tonight) I will see her (and you) for her oak tree nesting flight. 🙂

Shame on you, @Variety! A list of great comedies without The Court Jester, A Shot in the Dark, or Lover Come Back? You're kiddin' me! Some bizarre choices are included. I like Wayne's World, Austin Powers, The Waterboy, House Party, and Elf--but among the Greatest Comedies of All Time? No way. If you're going to include dark comedies like Dr. Strangelove, then where is The Apartment? Overall, this list gets a grade of D.
