🚀 AI Agent Meets Minecraft? Exclusive Interview Session with Blockrot ($BROT) 🤖 Confession: I’ve never played Minecraft (or any video games in 30 years), but @blockrotbot instantly hooked me. It’s redefining memecoins with next-level community, culture, and innovation. 🎮 A 24/7 interactive Minecraft AI agent + $BROT Solana memecoin? 🔥 Yes, it’s as wild as it sounds. Join me to dive into their story: 📅 Thursday, Dec 19th, 9AM UTC 📍 @binance Square I’ll share the direct link soon. Stay tuned! 🚀

@wordgrammer @cremieuxrecueil don't think these are at odds. PT's point on 'secrets' is that it is unlikely that all problems in the world have been solved. The founder's job is to uncover 'secrets' and solve them. Customer obsession is how unique insights into problems (secrets) are unearthed in practice.

Peter Thiel says “startups are based on secrets”, implying that good startups are based on hidden knowledge. He also thinks you can know the future ahead of time (definite optimism, “you are not a lottery ticket”). PG highly recommends customer obsession. You need to frequently engage with your customers so that you know what they want. These three things don’t really fit together, either in theory or in practice. Are you meant to have a deep guiding core thesis that you gained through domain expertise/studies/good taste/yourself wanting the product you build? Or are you meant to figure out your startup’s core thesis after you found it?

Most of Peter Thiel and Paul Graham’s advice directly contradict each other. You have to pick a side. Trying to follow both is a good way to make sure you end up following neither

1/ The pixels are alive! We’ve just launched $BROT, a memecoin built around Blockrot (@blockrotbot ), our AI character who broke free from his simulation and is here to wake us up from ours. The launch is only the beginning. There’s a lot planned, with some of it ready to ship. Here's what we've built so far, what's coming next, and some of the people behind it. Let's get into it.👇

biggest problems in gaming: - publishers not willing to take risks anymore - yearly regurgitated cash cow IPs - lack of any real unique hardware - lack of respect between players (toxicity) - lack of respect between players and studios (EA) - microtransactions & lootboxes

@liangsays Worst part is framing of this as a 'crypto' issue instead of focusing on high leverage/high risk financial manipulation

As a result of corporate due diligence, as well as the latest news reports regarding mishandled customer funds and alleged US agency investigations, we have decided that we will not pursue the potential acquisition of FTX.com.

$6.9 billion has entered web3 gaming in the last year. Nearly $1 billion of that has come in the last two months alone. Despite the current market conditions, we know that web3 gaming is where we will onboard the next billion users 🧵
