we haven't seen much of alice and varka's dynamic but alice seeing varka as a "child" is clearly affectionate exasperation, way different than hate and nicole was just excited to yap. varka didn't tell her to stfu, he just reminded her they had a task at hand - to save columbina because they were running out of time
