The service we use to deliver email is experiencing some issues this morning. If you’re trying to create an account or file a ticket, mail delivery will be significantly delayed.

@FListDotnet Can you guys please look into why Slimcat users are not able to login right now? Regular desktop client works, but all my logs & channels are on the other, & it didn't give me the option to move anything. I know you guys don't support it, but please, many rely on it.

@Tahr_Yrre It’s easy to assume that they’re excuses, but they aren’t. The disconnects are something we’re working on fixing as soon as we can - we’re not happy about the state of things either, believe me.

The site may be offline for a bit. In the meantime, please be patient. Yeah, it sucks but we’re doing everything we can to stop it and get the site and Chat back online. It bears repeating: Tonight’s attack has nothing to do with the recent string of attacks. Totally unrelated.

@sally_shake @SadistSomber @OdeltonRubanis It’s something we’re actively working to fix. I can’t get any more specific than that, since our attackers are likely watching how we respond publicly.

Trust us, we know and are working on it. The site is under attack again - unrelated to our other recent incidents.

@SadistSomber @OdeltonRubanis We’re working on fixing the source of the random disconnects as quickly as we possibly can. I’m not happy about it either.

@OdeltonRubanis @FListDotnet I agree. I have brought up the issue in their helpdesk. They seem to think opposite, that a few users online while others are banging at the doors to get in is acceptable. To me, if the site is down for 1000+ uses, it is DOWN.

@EriahSylverston I’ll say it again - this is completely unrelated to the previous attacks. That’s all I can say.

@FListDotnet If protection against the attacks was put in place, and it disrupts regular use of the chat and the attacks still happen, the protection isn't working. We've had three attacks since it was set?

We already covered this last night, but just as a reminder: We know that Chat isn't as reliable as it usually is. Please be patient with it. It's under additional protection after two DDOS attacks in the same week.

If it takes longer to reconnect... all we can do is offer our humblest apology for the inconvenience caused. It might appear like another attack, but if you can reach the F-List site, we're still online. The situation isn't ideal but it's the best we can do on short notice.

This is also important: If you should be booted from Chat going forward, that's a side effect of the additional protection in place to keep the site online. If you can't reconnect immediately, you may have to wait five to ten minutes before trying again.
