You should hear about us BOOMERS!!! We played with lawn darts, had hot tiddly winks rubber trinket makers that caused 3rd degree burns. EZ bake ovens. No seat belts or helmets anywhere! Lead based paint, dropped off at the local pool in summer with no lifeguard and mostly no parents. We ate hot dogs, bologna, 7-11 Icees, ice cream and frozen pizza and drank HiC, Fanta & Nehi sodas, none of this fat free fake sugar crap! We went TRICK OR TREATING with our friends/no parents on foot for MILES starting around 5:30 and didn't come home til midnight when we would dump our pillowcase full of sugar laden full sized candy bars and begin trading with each other and cramming as much in as we could for another hour! Christmas was also full of wild shit! Christmas lights that also gave you 3rd degree burns if they'd been on too long. They also made the whole house smell like pine as the heated bulbs touched the needles releasing their oils. None of this LED crap! We played with sparklers, set off Roman candles and bottle rockets in the back yard on 4th of July! Had watermelon spitting fights and played on railroad tracks! Now that was America!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🤍💙💥

@trotskybaby @TankMuseum Suggest you look at Chieftain’s videos on the firefly and the 76mm. Firefly suffered from ergonomics issues the US Army decided made it unsuitable for their crews. The 76mm when it came out did not have the same issues as the firefly.

Thankfully there’s a rather large rim around the hole thats only a few inches beneath the surface. Even if the force pulled you towards it you’d still be able to hold on for safety.
