Asking all #medlibs: looking back, what is your favorite term that was added to a database thesaurus in 2024? Mine is 'mashed potato' added to the Emtree!

A huge shoutout to #medlib twitter today. For a presentation on proper searching I went out to find some funny examples of how NOT to report your search, and you did not disappoint.

Fact: A lot of Dutch laptops have this special tray to warm up your stroopwafel.

The main thing to keep in mind is to not ignore these AI tools, but instead to keep testing and evaluating (but always keep in mind the limits and bias!) #EAHIL2024

However, it does need manual input of all the data...which is obviously time consuming and error prone. #EAHIL2024

All these relational datasets are giving me flashbacks to when I had to learn using Microsoft Access during my masters...I wouldn't be surprised if it is just my supervisor who is still using that. I should tell him about REDCap!
